Rules of Firearm Safety:

1. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded.
2. Always control the muzzle of your firearm and keep it pointed in a safe direction.
3. Be sure of your target; what lies in front of it and beyond.
4. Keep your finger out of the trigger guard and away from the trigger until you are ready to fire.

Matching Grant Program

One of the goals of WHEIA is to provide a means for instructors to be partially reimbursed for purchasing training aids. The Matching Grant Program was created to help instructors purchase training aids for their classes and ease the financial burden on the instructor.
